Arriving by car

Parking at the Kärntnerhof

• In the Heiligenkreuzerhof, a listed residential ensemble for € 25,- per night.
  Access is only possible from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Exit on the day of departure until 12 p.m.
• Parking spaces in the nearby underground car park at Georg-Coch-Platz (~ 8 minutes’ walk away) for
  € 25,- per 24 hours. The garage is open 24 hours a day. The entry card and a
  Access map and all further information are available at the hotel reception.

In Vienna, the short-term parking zone applies across the board from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The maximum parking time on the street is 2 hours (€ 4.40), you need a parking ticket for this. You can buy this in the tobacconist, at most petrol stations or at the ticket machine in a subway station. There is no short-term parking zone for motorcycles and mopeds.

As an alternative to our car parks, there are Park & Ride car parks outside of the city centre:

In the Park & Ride facilities on the outskirts of Vienna, you can easily switch from your car to public transport (e.g. subway, tram or bus).

Arrival from the train station to the Hotel Kärntnerhof

from the HAUPTBAHNHOF: Subway line U1 from the main station 3 stops in the direction of Leopoldau to the Stephansplatz station. Stephansplatz – Rotenturmstraße – Lugeck right – Köllnerhofgasse left – Grashofgasse right.

from WESTBAHNHOF: Subway line U3 from Westbahnhof 5 stops in the direction of Simmering to Stephansplatz station. Stephansplatz – Rotenturmstraße – Lugeck right – Köllnerhofgasse left – Grashofgasse right.

Stephansplatz is only a 3-minute walk from our hotel.

Arrival from the airport to the Hotel Kärntnerhof

With the airport bus “Vienna-Airportlines” in 25 minutes from the airport to Schwedenplatz/Morzinplatz (every 30 minutes), Schwedenplatz is only a 5-minute walk from the boutique hotel Kärntnerhof (via Morzinplatz – Rotenturmstraße – Fleischmarkt left – Köllnerhofgasse right – Grashofgasse left ).

approx. 25 minutes by taxi , ~ € 40. There is a taxi rank right in front of the arrivals hall. The “City Transfer” counter in the arrivals hall also arranges taxis and limousines.
